NaughtOne’s 2017 in a nutshell
2017 has been a huge year for NaughtOne, full of growth and success including the launch of four new products, an expansion in the team and industry accolades to top it off. This year, NaughtOne was placed number 1 in the Sunday Times Export Track 100, number 39 in the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 and as a Mixology Finalist for Manufacturer of the Year.
The entire team at NaughtOne, who are based across the world, are passionate about design and maintaining the excellent quality of our products. We handle every stage of the process from design to manufacture and sales and we pride ourselves on responding to our clients varied needs, wherever you are. With this in mind, we have expanded across the globe and now have members of the team permanently based in mainland Europe and North America.
New products Cloud desk, Knot table, Hatch and Symbol have received an overwhelmingly positive reception since we’d showed them for the first time at Clerkenwell Design Week, and are now loved by some of the most influential brands in commerce and culture.
Our showrooms in Elland, London and Chicago have really taken off, ideally located for architects and designers alike to see the newest NaughtOne products, with the freshest of fabrics. We have stayed true to our no nonsense, honest approach to design, without being fashion focussed, meaning our products are timeless without being bound to one application.
Our varied range of Useful Beautiful Furniture is designed and developed in Britain, with most of our products now being manufactured in the in the UK and North America, to support our approach to sensible lead times, pricing and environmental factors. In fact, in 2017, NaughtOne produced 37,105 products across our three manufacturing facilities in Yorkshire and North America, shipping to a wide cross section of businesses globally, ranging from Hospitality, Education and Workplace, to Finance, Technology and Healthcare.
