{"id":19532,"date":"2019-03-15T10:15:39","date_gmt":"2019-03-15T10:15:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/naughtone.wpengine.com\/us\/uncategorized\/naughtone-team-selects-martin-house-as-company-charity\/"},"modified":"2022-10-25T15:28:24","modified_gmt":"2022-10-25T14:28:24","slug":"naughtone-team-selects-martin-house-as-company-charity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.naughtone.com\/us\/news\/naughtone-team-selects-martin-house-as-company-charity\/","title":{"rendered":"NaughtOne team selects Martin House as company charity"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p>Each year, the NaughtOne team selects a local charity to support with fundraising throughout the year, so for 2019, we have chosen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.martinhouse.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Martin House;<\/a> a local charity that supports children and young people with life- shortening conditions, and their families, across West, North and East Yorkshire.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Whilst we can tell you plenty of fabulous reasons as to why we have chosen to support Martin House, their video will tell you much better. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=MRtAeMsIFl8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Give it a watch. <\/a><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The fundraising kicked off with Creative Director Kieron Bakewell taking to the kitchen on Shrove Tuesday, to rustle up a variety of savoury and sweet pancakes and waffles, for all to enjoy whilst donating to Martin House. This raised a brilliant \u00a392 which is a great start.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"819\" height=\"1024\" class=\"wp-image-19535\" src=\"https:\/\/naughtone.wpengine.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/04\/4CBEB127-4A6E-40FD-8218-9C96BB16316B-1-819x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.naughtone.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/04\/4CBEB127-4A6E-40FD-8218-9C96BB16316B-1-819x1024.jpg 819w, https:\/\/www.naughtone.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/04\/4CBEB127-4A6E-40FD-8218-9C96BB16316B-1-240x300.jpg 240w, https:\/\/www.naughtone.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/04\/4CBEB127-4A6E-40FD-8218-9C96BB16316B-1-768x960.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>NaughtOne will also be entering the Leeds Dragon Boat Race at Roundhay Park on Sunday 19th May, where the team of 10 will compete against a variety of others businesses and groups, to ultimately become to greatest Dragon Boat Racers.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>As part of the fundraising efforts, we have also created a Friday Lunch Club, where one member of the team makes a big batch of lunch for everyone to purchase a portion and eat together.
