Like many businesses, we do routine stock takes and on a recent check at our UK factory we found some obsolete stock.<\/p>\n

We challenge ourselves to always think about how we can make more sustainable choices, so instead of simply sending it to landfill, we asked: what’s a better way to dispose of these materials?<\/p>\n

We found a local company<\/a> who take a circular approach, sorting and segregating every skip so more can be recycled or reused. What\u2019s left is converted into Refuse\u2011Derived Fuel (RDF) – turning would\u2011be waste into energy for power plants.<\/p>\n

It’s a great solution, and an important reminder of how the circular economy depends on smart businesses coming up with good ideas to help other businesses do less harm to the planet.<\/p>\n
