As Head of Operations, you will lead the full spectrum of operations across NaughtOne globally encompassing Procurement, Production, Logistics & Warehousing.
The role holder will develop, implement and lead the international operational strategy to enable growth, profitability and sustainability. You will have a clear view on how the function, and wider business, need to operate to ensure profitability, compliance, and customer satisfaction globally. You will be a driver of change within NaughtOne ensuring that international operations has a clear model to support the NaughtOne growth plan.
You will take full ownership of monitoring, maintaining, and increasing operational efficiencies & your aim will be to ensure the streamlined production of all NaughtOne products at our production sites in the UK and international OEM partners. You will also improve organisational processes and continue to create an excellent place for people to work through empowering, coaching, and team development.
Responsibilities / Key Deliverables
- Lead the development and implementation of the international operations strategy ensuring alignment with NaughtOne growth strategy and values.
- Supporting their direct reports to establish how the OTIF target cascades down, subsequently setting appropriate targets at team level that contribute toward the Global OTIF target.
- Create a culture of continuous improvement led by data and insights across all operational processes.
- Provide leadership and support to your direct reports and upskill the team through a mixture of strategies including coaching, training, and team development. Ensure the team maintain a collaborative working relationship which enables one another to achieve results across all sites by; ensure they are engaged, enabled and have objectives that allow them to personally achieve and meet company objectives.
- Responsible for planning and delivering capacity against immediate demand, as well as strategically planning resource to deliver capacity against forecast and business plans.
- Understand business risks and ensure plans for mitigation and continuity planning.
- Budget total costs and forecast requirements for capacity, resource and investments.
- Perform financial predictions by preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analysing variance, and initiating corrective actions.
- Implement and regularly analyse operational KPIs and make sure that defined actions are implemented to ensure targets, safety, cost, quality and delivery are achieved.
- Promote high company morale and communicate operating policies, customer issues, and safety measures.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- A degree or equivalent and at least 5 years of proven senior leadership experience.
- Understanding and experience of leading international business operations.
- Experience of planning and executing strategic change that has led to achieving sustained, profitable growth.
- Proven experience with driving transformation at a senior level. A passionate, communicative leader, with a track record of driving performance through coaching, development, and training.
- Possess a quality service mindset – understanding of metrics and in-depth reporting to evidence.
- Well-versed in world-class manufacturing and able to develop and implement effective LEAN continuous improvement activities.
- Project management skills.
- The ability to lead, drive and implement substantial change while ensuring operational standards are maintained.

Dimension of role
With a team of 4 direct reports currently in the UK & US, the team is responsible for the procurement, manufacturing & shipping of all NaughtOne products.
A valid driving licence is essential for this role and requires the role holder to be on-site at either location at least 4 days/week.
