This role will mould strategy, build campaigns and tactical plans to successfully market the naughtone brand, launch and maintain products and develop programs that elevate brand perception. Responsible for translating business and communication objectives into an annual marketing and communications plan, that delivers a balance of campaigns and content marketing programs that prompt meaningful customer actions. This role will collaborate with the senior team across functions, both within naughtone and Herman Miller, to grow the brand and drive demand across all regions.
The role will mould strategy and the development, delivery and measurement of activity around our marketing efforts, with the support of a graphic design/marketing assistant and the Herman Miller group marketing team. The role will work closely with the senior team to formulate plans and projects, working across the business to pull together content and expertise to deliver the activity. Working with external and internal providers for creative support, design, photography, film-makers and printers. A deep understanding of not only what the products are, but what they mean to our customers, is vital.
Responsibilities / Deliverables
You are a thinker and a doer – You do strategy well, but this is a hands-on role. Key to the role is content; ensuring that we are making the best use of all of our available channels to tell the industry about the naughtone brand and the great results that we drive for our customers and partners.
Responsible for translating business goals and strategies into campaign moments by quarter and always on content streams to increase brand reach with the right audiences.
Responsible for the creation and management of the marketing and communications calendar.
Engages cross-functionally on brand-right, business building campaign and creation direction for all marketing initiatives.
Develop and delivery strategic marketing and PR plans, across all channels.
Work closely with our senior management team to build a narrative around our brand and key messaging.
Manage and measure social media channels and website performance.
Develop metrics for campaigns, track metrics and analyse and report on the success and shortcoming of campaigns, programs and channels.
Content writing (blog articles, press releases, case studies, social media posts etc)
Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies and campaigns alongside the team.
Collaborate with our marketing partners and inhouse Creative Studio to create and distribute content (including campaigns, marketing content, webinars, video interviews, case studies etc)
Understand what it takes to produce leads for the sales team and how marketing and sales work together.
Line management of one colleague.

You will be highly organised with attention to detail and will be able to quickly react to opportunities.
Microsoft Office software essential and strong ability with Adobe packages such as InDesign and Photoshop.
Dimension of role
Reporting into the Managing Director with a dotted line to the Senior Global Marketing Manager, the role is based in our Knaresborough HQ but in the current climate, you may be required to work from home.
