The Student Centre at Columbia College Chicago is an extensive five-story building that welcomes a diverse student body into an ‘inspiring hub for creativity, collaboration and chance encounters.’
The entirely glass walled building creates an unconventional atrium that makes the active student spaces more visible bringing the outside in and engaging the surrounding community. NaughtOne’s Always chairs on 4 star bases have been used to line the translucent glass walls whilst Always Lounge chairs create a comfortable and inviting central area where students can unwind and relax or work collaboratively.
Rows and rows of Polly chair on a sled base have been used within the multi-functional auditorium creating a striking look. Polly chair stacks 20 on a dedicated stacking trolley, making it ideal for use in spaces that require turning around into alternative layouts.
