Based at the NaughtOne factory in Elland, we are looking for an experienced sewing machinist to carry out all aspects of industrial sewing in a busy, fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The key responsibility of a sewing machinist is to make sewn pieces for the NaughtOne product portfolio which meet specifications and quality criteria. There is a particular emphasis on maintaining quality standards whilst working at the required efficiency rate, meeting targets and deadlines.

The successful candidate should have experience of using a flatbed sewing machine and an overlocking machine, ideally gained in a fast-paced, high volume production setting within the furniture industry.

You will have a strong work ethic and be able to work independently without close supervision, going above and beyond in a flexible, dynamic setting.

• Quality driven with a fine eye for detail
• Punctual and reliable
• Flexible in all aspects of work to include pieces and fabric
• Previous experience as an industrial sewing machinist (minimum two years)

• Sewing (machines) – Including re-thread
• Overlocker – Including re-thread
• Twin Needler – Including re-thread

You must be able to follow standard production operating processes to ensure that all work meets our high level of quality standards, taking pride in the work produced.

Reporting to the Factory Manager, this is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.

The working hours are Monday–Thursday 7am–4pm and Friday 7am–1pm.
