The Aerospace Integrated Research Centre at Cranfield University, a landmark building delivered in partnership with Rolls-Royce and Airbus, will change the future design of aircraft. The three-storey building includes open laboratory space, presentation and visualisation space, state-of-the-art simulation facilities and open plan office space.
Hush sofas, Hush Low chairs and Trace tables have been used to create informal meeting areas and break out zones within the triple-height atriums, as well as in the suspended meeting pod.
CPMG Architects won Best Large Commercial Project at the National LABC Awards for their design of AIRC Cranfield University.
