When Brown-Forman, the iconic American spirits company, set out to create its new Istanbul office, the vision was to craft a workspace that balanced its global identity with the warmth and character of its Turkish setting. Designed by Jeyan Ülkü Architects, the space reflects the company’s culture of openness and connection — moving away from hierarchy to foster collaboration, inclusivity, and wellbeing.
Located in the vibrant Kanyon Plaza, the office contrasts the city’s energy with a calm, light-filled interior. Enclosed rooms were brought to the core, leaving the perimeter open and fluid to encourage spontaneous interaction and movement throughout the day.
Between workstations, Lasso stools provide flexible touch-down points that support agile teamwork and informal conversation.
Beyond their collaborative function, Lasso’s soft materiality and warm colour finishes bring tactility and comfort to the space.
At the heart of the office sits a central bar — an essential feature for the brand. Here, Percy establishes a welcoming social hub where employees can gather, host clients, or unwind.
