A contemporary student living development in Nottingham, the shared spaces were designed to be as important as the bedrooms themselves. From quiet moments of focus to lively social interaction, the interiors needed to support the full rhythm of student life. NaughtOne worked alongside the design team to furnish these communal areas with pieces that encourage comfort, flexibility and connection.
Within the study zones Viv chairs were selected to support focused work without feeling rigid or institutional. Their compact footprint and welcoming form make them ideal for quick study sessions and moments of concentration.
In the social zones, a softer, more relaxed atmosphere was created using Truffle Poufs and Tun Tables. Truffle’s sculptural form brings a sense of play and informality, inviting students to gather casually, perch, or reconfigure the space as needed. Fiji lounge chairs add an extra layer of comfort and presence, offering an inviting place to unwind, socialise or pause between activities.
Together, these pieces help shape shared spaces that feel like a home away from home. At Fabric, NaughtOne furniture supports the way students naturally move between study and social life – creating environments that are comfortable, flexible and designed to be lived in.
