Say hello to the mobile lounge chair with a playful cone-shaped silhouette and a comfortable cupped sit that encourages people to gather where they like and stay awhile when they do.
Compact yet solid and stable, its hidden wheels and a fashion-inspired strap handle (both optional) make it easy to slide Pippin to where it’s needed. Move it, twist it, turn it – connecting has never been so much fun.
Pippin is the single-seat, cone shaped lounge chair that encourages collaboration by making it easy for people to come together.
Specify with castors and handle to easily glide it where you want it. Sit down and the castors withdraw into the base, grounding you with reassuring solidity.
Go without castors and handle and you have a distinctive lounge chair that adds personality and purpose to a space.
The silhouette isn’t just for show. Sink in and the back rest naturally encourages your shoulders to open – body language that says ‘let’s connect’.
“For me the chair is about being present and openhearted, ready to hear and contribute, coming together properly in a world that seems to require rushing from one thing to the next.
“The physical workplace is increasingly about bonding and collaboration – perhaps needing to work very openly with people you haven’t spent so much time with – so it’s important that conversation flows, and people feel comfortable and relaxed.
“Pippin has a relatively low and generously sloped seat and angled back, so you fall back into the chair and it takes your weight off you – this makes you feel immediately at ease.
“I like always to try to create seats that gently cup you, offering comfort and support physically but also emotionally and mentally too.”

A recipient of a SEAL Award for sustainable product design, Pippin has circularity in its DNA.
The chair fits together and comes apart like a 3D puzzle, so any component can be extracted and repaired, replaced, recycled or reprocessed. It’s easy to change the spec of the chair as needs evolve – switching castors for glides, changing the cover, or adding or removing a handle.
The design helps by making it clear how the pieces come apart: the rubber strap handle, for example, which is attached with two slot-headed screws or the upholstery zip around the back.
All these construction details play into NaughtOne’s Take-Back Programme, which means we can ensure the components of the chair are properly rehomed or recycled when the time comes.
A NaughtOne design isn’t just an expression of our creativity – it’s a canvas for expressing your creativity. Which is why Pippin, like all NaughtOne products, can be specified in a near endless array of finishes.
Choose your fabric and colour. Select the handle that goes best. Go with castors or go with glides.
Tailor Pippin to the client so the client gets exactly the Pippin they need.
