Here at NaughtOne, our team are busy taking on two different challenges in September and October, in order to raise money for deserving charities.
Virgin Strive Challenge in September
Sales Director Matt and Creative Director Kieron have signed themselves up for the Virgin Strive Challenge, alongside other entrepreneurs including Richard Branson, to take part in two out of five Strive stages. The Virgin Strive Challenge aims to raise money for Big Change; a charity that invests in big ideas that helpyoung people thrive in life.
Kieron is embarking upon stage 3; a grueling 5 day cycle from Monaco to Tignes, covering 110km a day with an ascent of 2100m per day.
Matt is launching himself into stage 4; a 5 day hike from Tignes to Chamonix covering 20km a day with an ascent of 1000m per day.
The duo are part of a group of around 100 Strivers, who are all taking part in various stages of the challenge and who would all greatly welcome your support!
Keep your eyes peeled on social media for Matt and Kieron’s training diaries, as they get closer and closer to taking on this huge challenge!
Byte Night by Action for Children – October
To help raise vital funds for Action for Children, to help prevent youth homelessness, several members of the NaughtOne HQ team will be taking part in the UK’s largest sleep out event.
Byte Night is the UK’s largest Corporate sleep out event, with individuals and teams from the technology and business services sleeping out to raise vital funds to prevent youth homelessness. The team are sleeping out to help allow Action for Children to continue to help thousands of young people to build better lives by providing essential support, accommodation, education and training.
“We’re having fun whilst raising money which is the way to do it! So far we’ve enjoyed cake and bake sales, Wimbledon strawberries and cream, a World Cup sweep stake, and we’re starting Friday lunch club, where a member of the team cooks up their favourite dish for the office to purchase and enjoy.” – Grace, NaughtOne team

Leeds Neonatal NHS Trust – NaughtOne company charity 2018
At the beginning of the year, NaughtOne chose to support the Leeds Neonatal NHS Trust as a Company, as part of our Corporate Responsibility efforts for 2018.
Leeds Neonatal NHS Trust provides incredible care to premature and ill babies from birth, with neonatal intensive care, paediatric surgery, cardiology and neurology as well as the children’s liver team and renal teams. The charity is very close to the hearts of NaughtOne team following the premature birth of a team members twin daughters, who spent the first four months of their lives being looked after by this charity.
Any money raised would go directly to a specific piece or pieces of equipment that would save the lives of premature babies for years to come and we have already raised over £1500 which has bought the unit a freestanding ‘operating theatre’ type light for procedures.
