Each year, the NaughtOne team votes for a charity to support with fundraising throughout the year, so for 2020, we have chosen the Make-a-Wish Foundation; a charity that helps to create life changing experiences and memories for critically ill children.
Whilst we can tell you plenty of incredible reasons as to why we have chosen to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation, their website is packed full of information that you may wish to peruse.
The fundraising will be kicking off with our Friday Lunch Clubs, where one member of the team cooks for the whole office and people donate for a portion, rather than going out to buy their lunch. Not only is it a lovely way for us to raise money, but it’s also a great opportunity to move away from desks and have a chat with people you might not usually get to eat lunch with.
In February, 16 members of the team across our Knaresborough and Elland sites will be taking part in a five-a-side football tournament against other businesses in Leeds. It is of course extremely serious and competitive… but mostly a brilliant and fun way to raise money for the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
