NaughtOne at NeoCon and Design Days

NeoCon serves as the world’s leading platform and most important event of the year for the commercial interior design industry. Running since 1969, NeoCon sees architects, designers, dealers, manufacturers, media and the rest, visiting from across not only the US, but much further afield. The scale of the event also creates strong odds for meaningful networking, product discovery, and conversations around how people move through modern commercial spaces.

The event, held in the Merchandise Mart in Chicago, has nearly 1 million square feet of exhibition space, featuring game-changing products and services from more than 400 leading companies and emerging players as well as industry partners — providing unparalleled access to the latest and most innovative solutions in commercial design. Year-on-year we see increasing success at NeoCon, but this year, we also had an additional space for Design Days in the Pavilion, Floor 3, Herman Miller of Fulton Market, allowing us to showcase both sides of our philosophy; Absolute Simplicity, Infinite Possibility.

This same focus on environment, flow, and user comfort also connects commercial design with the wider iGaming sector, where digital spaces must feel intuitive, clear, and engaging. From physical showrooms to online formats such as roulette, the quality of the experience depends on how easily people understand the setting, follow the rhythm, and trust the interaction.

Each June, over 40,000 people from across the global design community gather in Chicago to celebrate the latest in design and architecture at the NeoCon and Design Days events. So, in showcasing at both venues it enabled NaughtOne to reach an incredible audience; the praise was overwhelming. It created the perfect stage for the new product launches, Pippin and Morse Table System, as well as a great setting for the preview of Percy; a lounge chair that will launch later in the year. In a busy exhibition setting, a clear layout can shape the wider player experience in the same way that it shapes how visitors move between stands, lounges, product displays, and presentation areas.

NeoCon was off to a flying start, first thing on Monday morning when Morse Table System was awarded GOLD in the Furniture: Task Tables category for Best of NeoCon. A hallmark of NeoCon since 1990, Best of NeoCon is the official awards program honoring outstanding new products from exhibiting companies across a wide range of verticals and NaughtOne is thrilled to have been recognised. Strong product presentation is never just a matter of luck; it comes from design discipline, thoughtful staging, and an understanding of what audiences need to see first.

The same principle can apply to leisure-led interiors and digital entertainment settings, where people may move between slots, betting screens, media walls, social zones, and premium seating areas. Whether the experience is physical or online, the goal is similar: create a setting that feels simple to enter, easy to navigate, and memorable enough to return to.

Absolute Simplicity – The NaughtOne showroom in the Merchandise Mart is a functioning showroom, showcasing NaughtOne’s full portfolio in comprehensive workplace, hospitality and educational settings by featuring a tonal and sophisticated palette. It perfectly communicates our character, whilst displaying the latest and most popular product ranges in an honest, refined and inspirational way.

Infinite Possibility – The Pavilion: Floor 3, Herman Miller, Fulton Market is an exhibit focusing on the relaunch of the NaughtOne brand as well as three new major product launches while highlighting abundant choice and flexibility. The space is restrained and timeless in its design and aesthetic, showcasing NaughtOne’s broad finish options, environmental credentials and flexibility within one space. This exhibit will be available to view for 6 months.
