A few members of the NaughtOne team attended Clerkenwell Design Week on the 22nd May in London. This annual event runs for 3 days and attracts a wide spectrum of visitors from across the international design community.

The Farmiloe building is packed full of designers showing or selling their wares and many of the nearby furniture, lighting and interior product showrooms around Clerkenwell are open to the public. Talks and workshops are held in various locations during the three day event in London.

Our favourite feature of the event was Johnsons tiles‘ gorgeous tile mural which was made up of over 4200 tiles and marked the launch of their new Prismatics range. The tiles took up nearly 100 square metres on 3 outside walls of the Farmiloe building showcasing their new shades of matte and gloss tiles perfectly.

A workshop that we would have loved to attend [perhaps not in the thunderstorm!] was the tokyobike tour, where Onoffice columnist Peter Murray took participants on a daily architectural tour of Clerkenwell. Tokyobikes and helmets were provided.

We are thoroughly looking forward to next years Clerkenwell Design Week already and would like to congratulate everyone involved in the organisation of this years event for putting on such a great do!
